YOUR Role as Office Manager will be pivotal within the team, requiring you to utilise your efficient problem-solving skills to support the day-to-day office operations. You will oversee office supplies, manage filing systems, and handle correspondence. Additionally, you’ll assist with financial processes, collaborate closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate records, and coordinate payroll. Supporting project managers, managing deliverables, and organising meetings are also key aspects of the role. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for client and vendor inquiries - nurturing positive relationships is your area of expertise. Ensuring policy compliance, maintaining safety documentation, coordinating safety training, and overseeing office IT systems (including communications) are integral to the role. This position is primarily office-based from Monday to Friday, with occasional travel to construction sites and occasional weekend work to meet client demands.

YOUR Experience will include:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy.
  • New employee recruitment, onboarding, and training.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, accounting and project management software (e.g., QuickBooks, Hammertech, Procore).
  • Minimum 3 years of office management experience, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Office Management, or related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with construction terminology and processes is a plus.
