Your Next Employer is in located in Cairns, this builder is looking for an experienced and professional Contracts Administrator to oversee the contracts administration function working on a variety of Government Projects including Education, Multi-Residential Social Housing and Industrial Projects. They have a great reputation and are looking for the right person to join their team.

YOUR Role will see you join a team with a vibrant culture who work together to ensure the projects are completed on time and budget while maintaining quality builds. You will be responsible for Contract management, financial forecasting, procurement, writing detailed scopes of work, cost reporting, progress claims, variations, EOT's, NOD's, RFI's. Your role as a Contracts Administrator will see you become an integral part of the team and this role provides a genuine opportunity to showcase your skills.

YOUR Experience
  • Previous contracts administration OR project coordination experience within the Building industry - Junior, Intermediate or Senior roles are on offer
  • You will be passionate about the industry and enjoy working as part of a team
  • You will be a collaborative communicator and have the ability to negotiate
  • Degree or Diploma qualified (or equivalent experience) within construction management or engineering disciplines
  • A thorough understanding of Contract Law principals & construction specific Acts, codes and Regulations
  • Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
  • Strong IT knowledge and experience with construction specific software
